The differences that do matter
Services differ above all in three things: the real cost per image once the opening balance runs out, whether the provider documents where the files are processed, and whether there is a clear route to ask for a result to be deleted.
What the law says in Spain
Using these tools on your own photos, or on photos of adults who have given explicit consent, is a different matter from using them on someone else’s photo. In Spain, article 197.7 of the Criminal Code (in Spanish) makes it an offence to circulate intimate images without consent, and Organic Act 1/1982 (in Spanish) protects honour, privacy and one’s own image through the civil courts. Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 requires, in its article 50, that images generated by AI be labelled as synthetic.
If someone has circulated an intimate image — real or generated — the AEPD priority channel (in Spanish) allows an urgent takedown request, and StopNCII helps to block it across the main platforms. Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 also obliges platforms to act on notices of illegal content. Official texts consulted on 07/09/2026.
How to read the figures on this page
- A dated snapshot. The amounts and limits shown here and in the catalogue entries are a dated snapshot of each provider’s public pages. They change without notice, and when they change the figure is updated together with its date, never one without the other.
- Absences. When a provider publishes no figure, this desk records the absence instead of estimating it from comparable services. That absence counts against the score, above all under privacy, which carries the greatest weight.
