Responsible use
- The tools we review can only be used lawfully on your own photos or on photos of adults who have given explicit consent. That consent is not presumed because a photograph is public, and it can be withdrawn at any time.
- In Spain, circulating intimate images of a person without their consent is an offence under article 197.7 of the Criminal Code (in Spanish), and the right to one’s own image is protected by Organic Act 1/1982 (in Spanish). That an image is synthetic does not place it beyond reproach: what is protected is the identity of the person depicted.
- Is a non-consensual intimate image circulating? Report it at NCII report (in Spanish): takedown requests are handled with the highest priority.

Is Clothoff AI an app?
No. It is an editorial publication that reviews third-party tools. There is nothing to install, there is no upload form and this site neither processes nor stores any reader’s images.
How is the score worked out?
With five criteria of fixed weight: privacy 30%, output quality 25%, price 20%, speed 15% and support 10%. The same weights apply to partners and to non-partners, with no exception.
Are the reviews paid for?
Six tools in the catalogue are affiliate partners and their links are marked one by one. The score is fixed before any commercial agreement and is not revised afterwards.
Which photos may be used?
Only your own photos or photos of adults who have given explicit consent. Using them on anyone else may be a criminal offence in Spain.
Where do I turn if an image of mine is circulating?
To the AEPD priority channel for an urgent takedown, to the Policía or the Guardia Civil to report it, and to StopNCII.org to block its further spread.
How often is it updated?
At every full revision of the catalogue. The current one is dated 07/09/2026 and any later change is published with its own date.
